Subject: Return of Applications
The Training Academy will continue to process the Police Recruit and Police Service Technician applications that have already been returned to the Training Academy Backgrounds Unit prior to February 1, 2009.
If you have already returned your application to the MPD Academy and are currently in the process, or have been scheduled to take the Physical Agility Test, or received verification that the MPD Academy received your application prior to February 1, 2009, then the MPD Academy will maintain control of your application and processing.
You will continue to contact the MPD Academy Backgrounds unit at (901) 354-1700 with any questions or concerns.
IF YOU HAVE NOT RETURNED YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION TO THE MPD ACADEMY, THEN YOU MUST RETURN YOUR NEW APPLICATION TO THE CITY OF MEMPHIS, HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION - EMPLOYMENT SERVICE CENTER AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS PER MPD INFORMATION BULLETIN #15-09.
